1. Booking & Process
How do I book you for my date?
Please provide as much detail as possible using the form in Contact Me page — one-liners seeking a rate card without context will not be entertained as I want to ensure we are a good creative match! Once you submit the form, I will typically get back to you with a detailed quote within 24–48 hours. Your booking is only secured once the non-refundable deposit is paid and the Service Agreement is signed. If you'd like to speak me first before filling out this form to understand my workflow and creative approach, you may book a call with me here.
What happens after we book?
For all photography services, we will schedule an Alignment Meeting. We’ll go through a checklist covering logistics, "must-have" moments, and your preferred vibe (e.g., Joyful, Intimate, Elegant). If you wish to skip the meeting, you may choose to provide your event schedule, updates and preferences solely through WhatsApp or email instead.
Do you provide hair and make-up services?
No. Clients are required to arrange their own hair and make-up services at their own cost. Please ensure your styling is completed prior to the start of our scheduled session time so we can make the most of our session.
Can I change my date after booking?
Rescheduling requires at least 30 days' written notice. While I will do my best to accommodate your new date, it is subject to my availability. If I am unavailable for the new date, the request will be treated as a cancellation.
2. Service Packages & Deliverables
What exactly will I receive for my booking?
Deliverables vary depending on your booking type and duration. All final images are high-resolution JPEGs delivered via a secure online gallery. Because every shoot is unique, we will discuss the deliverables in the Alignment Meeting and it will be stipulated in the Service Agreement.
3. Creative Style & Editing
What is your photography style?
My work is a blend of Candid (spontaneous, unposed moments) and Editorial (structured portraits and detail shots). During our alignment meeting, you can tell me which style you’d like me to prioritise!
Who will be shooting the event?
Will you provide the unedited 'RAW' files?
No. My curation and editing process is an essential part of my brand and the service I provide. As per the Service Agreement, unedited RAW files or unselected images will not be shown or delivered. Rest assured, I will give you the highest quality, fully graded deliverables that upholds my standards.
What does "Editing" actually include?
All delivered images include my professional standard of colour correction, exposure adjustment, and stylistic grading.
Included: Basic blemish removal for solo portraits.
Not Included: Advanced retouching, such as skin smoothing, body reshaping (liquifying), or background object removal, adding or removing people.
Do you offer same-day slideshows?
Yes! For weddings, a Same-Day Photo Slideshow can be added for an add-on fee! This includes high-quality, fully graded images from the morning's events set to music, delivered via physical drive to your venue's AV team. I do however, require a turnaround time of at least 3 hours to prepare this.
4. Understanding the Service Agreement
Why is the deposit non-refundable?
The deposit serves as a "Reservation Fee." Once you book, I turn down all other inquiries for that date. Therefore, if you cancel, the deposit is retained to cover the loss of opportunity.
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
Legally, the Photographer (Amelia Yeo / Viridis Media) retains the copyright. However, you are granted a Personal Use Licence, meaning you can print them, share them on social media, and keep them forever. You just cannot sell them or use them for commercial/advertising purposes without prior written consent.
What is the "Non-Disclosure Exclusivity Fee"?
My business grows when I can share my work in my portfolio and on social media. If you prefer to keep your images entirely private and opt-out of my professional use, a Non-Disclosure Exclusivity Fee applies to offset the loss of marketing value.
What happens if you are unable to make it due to an emergency?
In the highly unlikely event of a "Force Majeure" (e.g., serious illness, accident, or natural disaster) where I cannot fulfil my duties, I will first endeavour to arrange for a replacement photographer of a similar style to take over the session. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. This is the maximum limit of my liability.
5. Logistics, Travel & Surcharges
Are there hidden costs for transport or parking?
For sessions within Singapore, my total service fee is inclusive of all transportation and parking costs. You do not need to worry about reimbursing me for these expenses on the day of the shoot.
What if I book you for a shoot in South Korea?
I frequently travel to South Korea and maintain my own accommodation in Seoul.
Seoul & Gyeonggi Province: There are no extra charges for my flights or accommodation.
Outside Seoul/Gyeonggi: Bookings in other regions (e.g., Busan, Jeju, Gangwon) will incur additional transport and accommodation surcharges.
Do you travel to other overseas destinations?
Yes! For all other international shoot destinations, my package prices are all-inclusive. This means there are no extra or hidden charges for my flight and accommodation—the price we agree upon covers everything required for me to get to you.
What happens if it rains during our outdoor session?
For outdoor sessions, we should discuss an Alternative Shoot Location during our alignment meeting. If weather conditions make the shoot impossible, we will work together to find a suitable reschedule date..
What if my event runs late?
I understand that weddings can be unpredictable!
Unscheduled Overtime: Charges apply per hour (or part thereof).
I offer a 15-minute grace period per hour block before overtime kicks in.
Are there extra fees for early starts or long gaps?
Early Start: A surcharge will apply for sessions starting before 7:00 AM.
Split Shift: A fee applies for non-consecutive coverage. This is only applicable for Actual-Day Wedding coverage exceeding 8 hours, where the gap between sessions is longer than 5 hours (e.g., a 10-hour booking split across two separate days).
Do I need to provide a meal?
For coverages exceeding 6 hours, a vendor meal is greatly appreciated so I can stay energised and ready to capture your evening highlights.
